Kubo are excited to be sponsoring
the home shirt of MK Lightning’s young Defenceman Ed Knaggs and the GB junior
international netminder Jordan Hedley’s away shirt. With the start of the
2016/2017 season almost upon us, we saw this recent interview with Jordan
Hedley on MK Lightning’s website and were keen to share the information.
· Did it take you long to decide that MKL
was the club to sign for?
Once I spoke to Pete it didn’t take long, I just knew it was the right
decision for me to come back after a year away.
· In your career, what’s been the biggest
challenge to date?
Every year is a challenge in its own way –
to do better than last season. For me it’s to play more games and
improve my stats on the year before.
· What
is your proudest moment of your career so far?
Winning gold and bronze medals at the
world championships with GB
· Do you support an NHL team or player?
I don’t really have one team – my
favourite players are Carey Price and Braden Holtby
· How would you describe your style of
play?
Big goalie – also athletic
· What kind of character are you in the
dressing room: thoughtful or practical joker?
I’d say I’m more of a joker –
just ask Jaimo!
· Outside of ice hockey….what takes up
your time?
FIFA and I’m doing an
apprenticeship in plumbing.
· Who was your ice hockey hero as you
were coming up through the ranks?
Joe Watkins the goalie who
used to play in Guildford
· Do you have a sporting hero in a
different sport?
Wouldn’t say I have one
· If you could be as good at a different
sport as you are at hockey, what would it be?
